Last week I gave a talk about metrics at the IGDA Albany chapter. It was actually a reprisal of my AGDC talk, and it was tons of fun!

Well, we have now been in business for a few days. We only managed to get going for real on Friday. This is because, even though our lease began April 1, we needed to get the office cleaned and painted. For example, this is what it looked like before it was cleaned and painted:
Kinda gross. However, this is what it looked like after cleaning and painting:
So all that was finished on Wednesday. Then we came into the office on Thursday and put together our furniture.
I think the place is looking pretty nice. We still need to get a TV in here (so we can hook up the Wii and the Xbox) and the bookshelves are mostly empty. But we’re slowly putting up art and whiteboards and things. It’s starting to feel like a home away from home!
