Q3 Metrics Visualization Plugin

Huzzah! Jeff managed to put together a metrics plugin for GtkRadiant, the direct descendant of the original Quake III level editor. Remember the 2D Quake III visualizations we did a few weeks ago? This is more or less the same data, but as an overlay on the map in the 3D level editor. So if you’re looking at the layer representing kill vectors, you get these lines drawn from the location the weapon was fired to the location of the kill, with a cube sitting at the kill location.

This is a prototype we put together to demonstrate that we really want to integrate our metrics stuff right into our clients’ tools.

Check out the screenshots. They are beautiful. (Note that we don’t overlay the metrics on the 2D maps… yet!)
